This is an important announcement from the SSEAYP 89 ,20th Anniversary Grand Reunion Celebrations Organising Committee.

You are cordially invited to our Reunion Celebrations in Singapore:)
Date : 26 -28th November 2009
Place : Singapore :)

A)Tentative Official Programme : 3 Days & 2 Nights

26/11 (Thursday) Morning ~ Arrival of 89 PYs & families
Evening ~ Reunion Dinner on-board Ms Fuji Maru @ Waterfront

27/11(Friday) Morning ~ Free & Easy(Chat Session)
(Hari Raya Haji) Afternoon ~ Picnic @ East Coast Park
Evening ~ BBQ Party

28/11(Saturday) Activities to be confirmed at a later date
Proposals include :
Shopping
Tour to Sentosa
etc


B) Country Leaders
Singapore ~ Suguna
Malaysia ~ Hellene
Indonesia ~ Esti & Ito
Philippines ~ Richard
Thailand ~ Paskorn & Peter
Brunei ~ Taha

Please confirm if you're ok with this role :)

We need confirmation of participants /family members by 1 May 2009 to facilitate the booking of rooms, passes for boarding Ms Fuji Maru for Reunion dinner, etc

C)Tentative Costing
i)Participants are required to arrange their own flight to Singapore
ii)Pick up to/from Changi Airport will be arranged by Singapore PYs
iii)3 Days & 2 Nights Official Reunion Programme for Foreign PYs would cost about S$150.-S$200 per adult(to be confirmed at a later date depending on place of stay)
This will include food & lodging & PSA passes for FujiMaru.

There will be 8 of us already confirmed and ready to fly to Sing ( Esti ,Ade,Ito,Tri,Ayi,Sari,Yong,Lily).

The following PYs please furnish us with your flight details as soon as possible!

BPYs = Rosalina & Taha
IPYs = Yong Barnas, Tri, Joni, Ito, Delyusar, Weno & Diana {Esti please coordinate- TQ)
TPYs = Paskorn, Lynn, Por, Peter & Chumnong
PPYs= Isabel, Ronnel & Arnord

For you information, i and my husband will arrive in spore on Nov 25. We already arrange our hotel at York hotel. So...C U then...

Hi Haruo,

I believe some other PYs besides Rika may be flying in on Nov 25 so they might need accomodation at chalet & maybe Nov 28 as well. Perhaps the organising committee could look into this? When do you require PYs to submit flight details?

Great to know your flight confirmation. Sharifah has booked club house from 26-28. Other than this date, let me check with Sharifah. But we are member of this club house so hope we can talk to the management for some extension. Please let me confirm.

Hi Haruo. I have just reserved our flight as follows: Arrival 11/26 0:50(midnight) NW321, Departure 11/29 6:00 NW320. Is it possible to stay at the same lodge prepared by the reunion committee for 25th and 28th as well? It would help a lot if we can. Let us wait for your reply before we try to look for other accomodation.

Hi Haruo. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I could not find Shah's mail on 9/10; so could you post the info on this message board? Regarding my request, its as simple as written on my email sent; sharing updates of PYs (
by exchanging booklet on PYs update) and have discussion on "The effect of the ship program: its effect on us, our family and our society.

But for boarding to Fuji Maru, only Indonesian PYs are registered. So please register for reunion on ship also. You can get info from email send by Sharifah on 10th Sep.

Hi, there Haruo-san! Have you received my email to you on my request to have updating and sharing time about each other, discussion time on our
reflection as ex-py(how SSEAYP influenced our life and society? Now I am trying to organize a reunion in Japan(Kanto area), hoping to get recent infos and pix to take to Singapore to share with you all. By the way, have I registered in an application form?(Sorry I don't remember myself)
